The AHS Chapter may elect up to 30 delegates for the SEIU 1021 Member Convention to be held September 25, 2021.

METHOD OF NOMINATIONS:

Nominations for Convention Delegates will be held from July 19th to July 30th. The President and Vice Presidents shall serve as automatic delegates to the convention. The other 28 delegates shall be selected by nomination of at least 15 signatures of members in good standing. The fifteen 15 signatures shall be submitted by email to diana.bello@SEIU1021.org or text a picture of the signatures to 415.361.9476. The deadline to submit forms is August 2, 2021 by 5 P.M. A sample nomination form to collect signatures can be found attached to this post, or you can create your own as long as the form includes date, printed name and signature. 

ELECTION PROCESS:    

If the number of delegate candidates is less than or equal to 28, the candidates automatically become elected delegates. If more than the 28 of delegates are nominated, an election will be held by the Chapter. The Election will be done online from August 5th at 9:00 A.M. to August 9th at 5:00 P.M. To request a duplicate ballot, call our Member Resource Center at 1-877-687-1021 by August 6th at noon. 

ELECTION RESULT:    

The results will be announced on August 10th.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE? 

Only members can be nominated, run for a delegate seat or vote. Non-members must sign-up at join1021.org to become a member and participate. To check your member status, call our Member Resource Center at 1-877-687-1021.
