What is a grievance? Any worksite problem could be a grievance. All violations of the contract are grievances! If you question whether your situation is a grievance, contact your shop steward.
Stewards are assigned to assist in addressing problems members may have on a variety of issues. If you have a question regarding your rights on the job or other member related questions a steward may be able to help.
Your Right to Representation
Employees have a right to union representation during investigatory interviews. These rights are known as Weingarten Rights.
