San Joaquin Court Tentative Agreement reached

We have reached a Tentative Agreement!
- Two-year term. Expiring Sept. 30, 2026.
- Salary 6% year one (seen on Oct. 25 paycheck), 2% year two.
- $2,000 lump sum payment on your Oct. 11 paycheck.
- Overtime! A Judicial Branch Holiday shall be counted as time worked for overtime purposes. This is a big deal!
- Adding Juneteenth to the list of holidays.
- An extra floating holiday for a total of three. All three will be loaded into your bank during the first full pay period on or after Jan. 1.
- Making the vacation cash-out option and longevity pay permanent.
- Within 90 days of ratification, we will meet with the Court regarding the possibility of creating an LPC IV classification.
- Amending the Family Leave, Sick Leave, Discrimination, and Bereavement Leave portions of the contract to reflect current law.
- Including Reproductive Loss Leave language in the contract.
- Improved Realtime Differential (Court Reporters).
- Clean up language.

Voting will happen electronically starting at 6 a.m. and ending
at 9 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 7. The results will be announced on
Tuesday, Oct. 8.
