The weather may have cooled down, but it was getting hot up here. The theme for today was REJECTED, Respectfully. The Court came in and REJECTED our proposals on: 

• Increasing Floating Holidays
• Allowing appeals on suspensions for two or more days.
• Increased sick leave accrual
• Increasing  the Court’s contribution for Dental, Vision, and Health Insurance coverage

We traded proposals on:

• Realtime differential (Court Reporters)
• Increased vacation time
• Cost of living adjustments – The Court came with a 6% COLA over three years.  3-2-1 (included)  We countered with 18 % over three years.  

We came to an agreement with the Court to meet regarding the possibility of creating an LPC IV classification.
We have two dates next week, Sept. 17 and Sept. 19.  Make sure to do your laundry so your purple clothes are clean.  We definitely need your support. 
The countdown has begun—19 days until expiration.
