In keeping with San Lorenzo Unified School District Chapter -SEIU Local 1021 bylaws, notice is hereby given of an election for San Lorenzo Unified Chapter of SEIU 1021 for the purpose of electing a new bargaining team to negotiate a new CBA.  Per the internal chapter bylaws, the bargaining team consists of 8 individuals to serve on this term for the duration of contract negotiations, which are due to begin upon completion of the elections.

Per the San Lorenzo Unified Chapter bylaws, the president and chief negotiator are automatically members of the bargaining team. Each of the following departments/classifications will have a representative present during negotiations:

1. Custodial
2. Grounds
3. Maintenance
4. Warehouse
5. Child Nutrition
6. Campus Safety Assistants
7. Campus Safety Officers
8. Transportation

The nomination period will be from April 28, 9am – May 3, 2022, 5pm.

If an election is required due to multiple candidates in a specific department, elections will take place May 16-May 18, 2022, via Election Buddy (confidential union platform for elections) via email or text message.
