North Central region hosts successful GOTV evening

Article

Last week, SEIU 1021 members gathered at the Fairfield union hall for a spirited get out the vote (GOTV) evening, focused on urging the community to support the Harris/Walz ticket. The event brought together members committed to making their voices heard in the upcoming election.

Participants engaged in a meaningful activity by hand-writing postcards to fellow community members, emphasizing the importance of voting and the impact of their choices on local and national issues. The atmosphere was vibrant, with delicious food, exciting raffle prizes, and a strong sense of camaraderie among attendees.

“Tonight is crucial because it helps prevent a return to the chaos of 2016,” said SEIU 1021 Solano County Chapter President Elizabeth Harrison. “We need a president who represents everyone, and we’re committed to ensuring the Harris and Walz ticket reaches the White House.”

As the election approaches, SEIU 1021 is mobilizing our members. It’s going to take a lot of people power to impact this election, from the top of the ticket to the bottom. Find out where you can participate in this political seasons GOTV with SEIU 1021 here!
