Member registration for the SEIU 1021 Convention is open!
The SEIU 1021 Member Convention is just around the corner! This event only comes once every three years and will take place in-person for the first time since the pandemic. It’s a chance to unite and celebrate our collective achievements while charting our path forward for the next three years. We will strategize on how best to continue our collective fight for equity, social justice, and workers’ rights.
While only certified delegates will be voting on the core plan, all current SEIU 1021 members are welcome to attend the two-day event at the SAFE Convention Center in Sacramento on September 28 and 29.
This year’s theme is Dream, Organize, Fight, Win! Get ready to be transported to a world of imagination and inspiration.
You can look forward to thought-provoking speakers, discussion and networking with members from across Northern California, and educational workshops to give you the skills and knowledge you need to organize, fight, and win. SEIU International Executive Vice President Joseph Bryant, California Superintendent Tony Thurmond, and labor activist Bill Fletcher are just a few of the amazing speakers confirmed for this event.
We are also thrilled to welcome 3x GRAMMY® Award winner Fantastic Negrito to the stage for a private performance for our members. He is just one of many exciting performances we have in store for you all, so dust off those dancing shoes and register today!
Convention registration is easy. Click here for the registration page, then select “Get tickets.” Then, select ticket type “SEIU 1021 Non-Delegate Member.” Pay a $75 refundable deposit. Your deposit will be returned after you attend the convention or if you cancel by 4:00 p.m. Friday, September 13. This fee only covers entry for non-delegate members. Hotel accommodations are not included.
