WHAT: Rally for Health & Safety

WHY? 

Every day, SCUSD is putting the health and safety of transportation workers, students, and our community at risk by putting COVID-positive students on our buses; telling bus drivers who test positive to keep working; not informing us about exposures; putting us on buses that haven’t been sanitized after COVID cases without even telling us; and more.

Short staffing is creating unsustainable stress for workers and leaving kids stranded. Our wages are so low the District can’t recruit or retain bus drivers…meanwhile, the Board just rewarded Superintendent Aguilar with a contract extension and a huge raise while our schools crash and burn.

THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE.
