Call for nominations: Election of Chapter Officers

Happy New Year Calaveras County members! It’s time to elect your representatives. Nominations are now being accepted for the following chapter officer seats: 

• President 
• Vice President
• Secretary 
• Chief Steward
• Information Officer 
• Cope Coordinator/Delegate

Voting will take place electronically starting Feb 3-7. You will get your ballot by text or email sent to your personal phone and email address. You must be a SEIU 1021 member to vote. Go to www.join1021.org. 

• Nominations open today, Jan. 13 and close Jan. 17 at 5 p.m.
• List of candidates will be announced Jan. 24
• The election will open Feb. 3 at 8 a.m. and close Feb 10 and 5 p.m..
• Challenges must be received by Feb. 16 faxed to 209-461-0574 or emailed to a.colavitapinkham@seiu1021.org
